Job summary

Hypersolid seeks a brilliant designer who can fuse craft with AI-native workflows to elevate visual experiences. You’ll own art direction, interface design, typography, and motion, while collaborating with product designers and art directors to raise the craft ceiling.

You bring five+ years of agency or studio experience, a strong portfolio, fluency in AI prototyping, and comfort with tokenized design systems and Git-based workflows. You’ll mentor others and ship exceptional work.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of agency or studio experience in visual or product design.
• Portfolio demonstrates classical design sensibility, exceptional digital craft and real product depth.
• Strong visual judgment and ability to contribute to concepts and creative direction.
• Fluency with AI prototyping tools and ability to work directly with code.
• Comfort with component-based design systems and Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual and motion craft: art direction, interface design, typography, motion and fine details.
• Collaborate with the Design Director to raise design quality and processes.
• Support transition to AI-native design with spec-driven workflows and design intent for AI acceleration.
• Help shape adoption of spec-driven, AI-native workflows across the team.
• Structure Figma files for tokenized, machine-readable design systems within a Git-based workflow.
• Prototyping towards a working artifact, not just static mockups, with some coding familiarity.
• Present and articulate creative direction to senior stakeholders and clients.
• Deliver innovative, beautifully crafted work and elevate the team’s standards.
