Job summary

EMEA Recruitment is assisting a leading business services company in Amsterdam to appoint a Senior Accountant. You will manage full-cycle bookkeeping under Dutch GAAP and IFRS and prepare client-specific monthly and quarterly reporting.

You will coordinate CIT and VAT returns, prepare audit files, and liaise with shareholders, client entities, banks and external auditors. 4-6+ years' experience preferred. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, IFRS is a plus.
• Experience in financial reporting and tax coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and manage complex bookkeeping under Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
• Review and prepare client-specific monthly and quarterly reporting, including dividends distributions and capital contributions requests.
• Review and coordinate Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Value Added Tax (VAT) returns.
• Prepare audit files and assist external auditors during statutory audits.
• Maintain active communication with shareholders, client entities, banks, and other external stakeholders.
