EMEA Recruitment is seeking a Financial Accountant to join an international organisation in Amsterdam on a fixed term contract until March 2027. This part-time role (Mon-Wed, with Tue-Wed remote) focuses on Dutch GAAP accounting for Dutch entities.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting, liaison with Dutch tax authorities and preparing financial reporting for headquarters, while ensuring compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Dutch GAAP and statutory reporting.
• Proven track record in financial accounting roles at international settings.
• Experience handling Dutch Tax Authority interactions.
• Ability to work independently and own end-to-end processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for Dutch operating and holding companies.
• Manage operating costs, expenses and other accounting transactions.
• Support payroll-related accounting activities.
• Prepare financial reporting for headquarters.
• Liaise with Dutch Tax Authorities and local authorities.
• Support statutory reporting and local compliance.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Work with internal stakeholders and headquarters on financial matters.
• Support transition and handover from current postholder.
• Provide general accounting support to Dutch entities.
