Job summary

TicketSwap is hiring a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team in Amsterdam. You will own significant parts of the close process, drive improvements, and help build scalable finance operations with strong controls.

The role requires collaboration with FP&A, Product, Engineering and Operations. You will work in a fast-moving, international environment, handle VAT and regulatory reporting, and support auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Accounting.
• 3+ years experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Exact Online or similar accounting software.
• Experience working with auditors and providing audit support.
• Interest in automation, AI and scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own key parts of the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes including accruals and reconciliations.
• Ensure the balance sheet and P&L are accurate and well documented.
• Support statutory reporting and audit processes with audit support responses.
• Oversee accounts payable, reimbursements, and invoicing processes.
• Lead payment runs and day-to-day finance operations, with payroll coordination and improvements.
