Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Regional Financial Controller to join the Group Finance team in Amsterdam. You will drive financial excellence across our global footprint, redesign close processes, and leverage automation to maintain strong controls.

You will lead month-end close, reconciliations, and statutory reporting while partnering with tax and regulatory teams and auditors. A strong focus on process optimization and ERP tooling is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in financial control, accounting and external audit.
Analytical mindset with ability to work independently and proactively.
Experience in Branch accounting is highly valued.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or RA are advantageous.
Track record in process optimization and automation; familiarity with modern tooling.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities; think ahead.

Responsibilities

Oversee the general ledger for global entities and branches, handling moderate to high complexity.
Execute and validate month-end close workflows including reconciliations and journal entries.
Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure timely, compliant reporting.
Support tax filings and data provisioning with external advisors.
Draft financial statements and coordinate with auditors through the audit cycle.
