CMA CGM Rotterdam seeks a temporary Sales Support Officer to back Account and Sales Managers, ensuring smooth administrative processes and serving as the link between clients, sales teams and internal departments to resolve operational challenges and boost customer satisfaction.

The role involves handling quotations, using CRM/pricing systems, attending weekly sales meetings, and promoting CMA CGM services, with Dutch and English fluency as essential assets.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and other business systems.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset.
• Team player with a collaborative approach.
• Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Able to present data clearly and effectively.
• Knowledge of Logistics and Shipping is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive administrative and sales support to Account and Sales Managers
• Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and daily support
• Manage and follow up on quotation requests and workflows
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute insights
• Utilize CRM and pricing systems daily
• Collaborate on dispute resolution and root cause analysis
• Ensure accurate filing of quotations, including FMC filings
• Share customer feedback with local trade managers
• Develop and present business cases to Head Office line managers
• Promote CMA CGM’s full suite of services including e-Commerce, CMACGM+, Intermodal, and CEVA cross-selling
