Job summary

CMA CGM Holland is seeking a Sales Support Officer to join our office in Rhoon. You will bridge clients, sales teams and internal departments to resolve operational challenges and elevate customer satisfaction.

Join a dynamic commercial team and contribute to the efficient handling of quotations, CRM activities, and cross-selling CMA CGM services, while maintaining strong Dutch and English communication with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English; French a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office, CRM tools and pricing systems.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Analytical thinker with ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive administrative and sales support to Account and Sales Managers.
• Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and daily support.
• Manage and follow up on quotation requests and workflows.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute insights.
• Utilize CRM and pricing systems daily.
• Collaborate on dispute resolution and root cause analysis.
• Ensure accurate filing of quotations and FMC filings.
• Share customer feedback with local trade managers.
• Develop and present business cases to Head Office line managers.
• Promote CMA CGM's full suite of services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting our Account and Sales Managers by ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes for a diverse portfolio of customers. You'll be the vital link between our clients, sales teams, and internal departments - helping to resolve operational challenges and elevate customer satisfaction.

The key responsibilities of the Sales Support Officer are divided as such :

• Provide proactive administrative and sales support to Account and Sales Managers
• Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and daily support
• Manage and follow up on quotation requests and workflows
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and contribute insights
• Utilize CRM and pricing systems daily
• Collaborate on dispute resolution and root cause analysis
• Ensure accurate filing of quotations, including FMC filings
• Share customer feedback with local trade managers
• Develop and present business cases to Head Office line managers
• Promote CMA CGM's full suite of services including e-Commerce, CMACGM+, Intermodal, and CEVA cross-selling

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and other business systems
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset
• A natural relationship builder and collaborative team player
• Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving abilities
• Able to present data clearly and effectively
• Knowledge of Logistics and Shipping is a strong advantage
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
