Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Sales Engineer to own the east of the Netherlands (Achterhoek / Overijssel) for a global leader in industrial sensor technology and automation. You will build trusted relationships with manufacturers, identify opportunities, and act as the technical and commercial partner in your territory.

Based on customer sites, you will combine engineering insight with sales activity to win new business while expanding existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Started in a technical role and shifted to sales.
• Comfortable on customer sites engaging engineers, maintenance teams and production managers.
• Ability to identify opportunities in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Sales Engineer to take full ownership of the east of the Netherlands (Achterhoek / Overijssel) for a global leader in industrial sensor technology and automation.

This isn't about inheriting a list of accounts to maintain - it's about building your own success. You'll develop existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and become the trusted technical partner for manufacturers across your region.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and grow an established customer base
• Develop new business across your territory
• Provide technical and commercial solutions to industrial customers
• Work with one of the industry's broadest portfolios, including:
• Photoelectric & proximity sensors
• Safety technology
• Flow & pressure sensors
• Encoders
• Machine vision
• Identification systems
• Factory & process automation

Who we're looking for

You're someone who started in a technical role and discovered a passion for sales.

You enjoy being on customer sites, understand industrial manufacturing environments, and can confidently engage with engineers, maintenance teams, production managers, and purchasing professionals alike.

Requirements

• Based in Achterhoek or Overijssel
• Fluent in Dutch
