The Company

This hire is for an established and well-known analytical instrumentation builder based in Etten Leur. Due to growth, they are looking to hire a motivated junior Sales Applications Engineer to support and develop their customers across the BENELUX territory.

Their instrumentation is now trusted by a variety of well-known household names across the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and FMCG industries.

The Opportunity

This person will support in managing and developing the company's customer base across the territory and will be responsible for managing relationships, strengthening existing ones and working with the European Sales Manager to establish and execute a business development strategy across the defined territory.

You will be the main point of contact, providing application expertise, technical support/training and sharing product knowledge to advise customers on the best solution to meet their requirements.

You will use your technical knowledge and commercial acumen to produce quotations and manage sales negotiations directly with customers.

You will be based at the company office in Etten Leur, although you will be required to travel to customer sites nationally and occasionally internationally to demonstrate products and fully understand the customer's applications and needs. Expected travel around 30%.

The Person

Ideally, you will have a degree in an engineering or a science-related field or be educated equivalently with a similar background. Candidates with lab experience without a degree will also be seriously considered
We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated and highly organised individual with a confident, professional approach.
You must be willing to travel around 30% of the time to customer sites across the territory
Full product and sales training will be provided, meaning that we can consider applications with no sales experience
Candidates must have a valid Dutch driving licence and be fluent in both English and Dutch.
