Job summary

SpeakUp, a leading misconduct reporting platform, seeks a Legal Director to oversee all legal aspects of commercial contracting, including NDA, SaaS master agreements, DPAs, and privacy compliance. You will work closely with senior leadership and report to the CFO.

You will collaborate across functions, monitor regulatory changes, manage data protection (GDPR) and security standards, and train sales and services teams. Experience in SaaS contracting and enterprise-level negotiations is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years as a lawyer or legal counsel.
• Experience drafting and negotiating enterprise SaaS contracts.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and international privacy standards.
• Demonstrated ability to translate legal context into clear business language.

Responsibilities

• Own the standard Terms & Conditions and negotiate enterprise SaaS contracts.
• Review, update, and draft NDAs, MSAs/ToCs, SLAs, Order Forms, and DPAs.
• Serve as DPO liaison for privacy, data protection, and regulatory inquiries.
• Monitor international regulations and translate into business opportunities.
