Job summary

ControlUp seeks an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of about 200 accounts, handling post-sale relationships and ensuring renewals while driving ROI across our product suite. You will collaborate with US-based teams and global stakeholders to maximize customer value.

We expect a strong communicator with commercial acumen, capable of seven-figure renewal negotiations. Some travel for events and on-sites is required; Dutch language fluency is essential, with additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch; additional languages a plus.
• Proven track record in fast-growing SaaS businesses.
• Experience managing a portfolio of 200+ accounts across segments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with influence at all levels.
• Experience negotiating seven-figure renewals.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to anticipate needs.
• Roles such as CSM, Renewals, Sales, IT manager, or Software Sales experience.
• Customer-centric mindset with willingness to travel for events/on-sites.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to align goals with our solutions.
• Collaborate with CSMs, Solution Engineers, and Professional Services for a superior customer experience.
• Ensure account retention, development, and growth of lifetime value.
• Drive product adoption to maximize license utilization supporting retention, upsell, and cross-sell.
• Support POD teams to expand accounts by identifying needs and selling additional products.
• Monitor and report customer experiences and provide recommendations to improve performance.
