Job summary

DEPT® is seeking an on-site IT Support professional for our Rotterdam office and NL-wide activities. You will partner with office management and support important meetings and events, ensuring smooth IT operations.

Requirements include 1+ year in IT roles, macOS and Windows expertise, and strong English communication. The role offers collaboration across Global IT and local vendors, with growth through training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT engineering, IT support, or related technical role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of macOS administration and troubleshooting.
• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of software licensing, security principles, and IT governance.
• Excellent communication skills, including hosting meetings and documenting clearly.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for the Rotterdam office (4 days per week).
• Establish and maintain IT support standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Ensure seamless technical setup for client meetings and internal events.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding: hardware provisioning, access management, licenses.
• Coordinate with local vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead local IT projects like office upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
• Monitor IT initiatives and report progress and metrics.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate and optimize tools and processes.
• Support global IT projects by translating initiatives into local implementations.
• Collaborate with Global IT on integration and continuous improvement.
