Job summary

DEPT® is seeking an on-site IT Support professional for our Rotterdam office and NL-wide activities. You will partner with office management and support important meetings and events, ensuring smooth IT operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT engineering, IT support, or related technical role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments.
• Advanced knowledge of macOS administration and troubleshooting.
• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of software licensing, security principles, and IT governance.
• Excellent communication skills, including hosting meetings and documenting clearly.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for the Rotterdam office (4 days per week).
• Establish and maintain IT support standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Ensure seamless technical setup for client meetings and internal events.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding: hardware provisioning, access management, licenses.

Job Purpose

This role is part of our Holding team based in the Netherlands. Our team is the driving force behind DEPT® composed of individuals who thrive on sales, business development, and fostering new opportunities. As part of our team, you'll be immersed in a diverse environment, collaborating with experts in Sales Operations, Finance, Hospitality, Recruitment, People, and Marketing.

In this role, you will be responsible for on-location IT Support Operations in the Netherlands with focus on the Rotterdam Office and wider local NL activities where required. You will partner closely with the Netherlands (NL) office management and provide support for important office meetings and activities.

Key Responsibilities

Local Support

• Provide on-site IT support for the Rotterdam office (4 days per week).
• Establish and maintain standards, documentation, and best practices for office IT support.
• Ensure seamless technical setup and support for client meetings and internal events.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning, access management, and license coordination.
• Oversee relationships with local vendors and service providers, ensuring quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate and deliver local IT projects such as office upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and technology rollouts.
• Monitor and report on IT initiatives, project progress, and operational performance metrics.
• Analyze existing tools and processes to identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, and standardization.

Global Support

• Participate in global IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Translate global IT initiatives into effective local implementations.
• Support the development, integration, and continuous improvement of systems in collaboration with the Global IT team.
• Contribute actively to global IT meetings, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT engineering, IT support, or a related technical role.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based environments.
• Advanced knowledge of macOS administration and troubleshooting.
• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of software licensing, security principles, and organizational IT governance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to host meetings, deliver presentations, and create clear documentation.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
