Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Content Systems & Innovation based in the Netherlands.

You will shape scalable content models, schemas, and governance within a modern CMS to support multiple audiences and platforms. You will lead initiatives to reuse content, personalize experiences, and automate workflows with AI, collaborating across Editorial, Product, Technology, Analytics, Clinical, and Revenue teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, content systems, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with structured content within a modern CMS; Contentful preferred.
• Strong knowledge of content modeling, taxonomy, metadata, tagging, governance, and reusable content frameworks.
• Experience creating scalable tools, templates, workflows, and operational frameworks.
• Ability to translate editorial, audience, and business needs into functional system requirements.
• Experience applying AI, automation, or emerging technologies to content workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and communication skills.
• Healthcare or high-trust information environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a structured, modular content strategy with models, schemas, taxonomy, metadata, tagging, and governance.
• Lead the development of reusable content structures supporting websites, newsletters, tools, and personalized experiences.
• Develop structured models for healthcare information and journey-based guidance.
• Create tools, templates, frameworks, and workflows to improve planning, production, structuring, updating, optimization, and distribution.
• Identify friction and inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt technologies to improve content operations, reuse, personalization, quality, and performance.
• Identify opportunities for AI and automation across tagging, transformation, updating, optimization, quality control, reuse, and distribution.
• Design workflows balancing automation with editorial, clinical, and governance oversight.
• Test emerging technologies and assess their value for operations and audience experiences.
• Partner with Product and Technology to connect structured content with personalization and next-best-action experiences.
• Establish standards, documentation, governance processes, and quality controls.
