Job summary

DEPT is seeking a Senior Content & Comms Strategist in Amsterdam/Rotterdam to lead integrated content and comms strategies across a global client base. You’ll partner with brand strategists, creatives, media experts, and CRM to drive impact across customer journeys.

You’ll translate client goals into actionable frameworks, messaging logic, journey maps, and content systems, guiding teams from concept to execution. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content strategy, comms strategy, or creative strategy.
• Proven ability to connect audience insights to storytelling across channels.
• Ability to map ecosystems, identify gaps, and craft implementable strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated content and comms strategies across paid/owned/earned channels.
• Translate client goals into clear strategic direction and briefs.
• Map audiences, moments, channels, formats, and partners to inform decisions.
• Bring audience insight, culture and platform behavior together to guide content.
• Collaborate with brand strategists and creatives to bring positioning to life.
• Present complex thinking in a simple, structured way for clients and teams.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted strategic partner.
• Support new business with clear points of view and compelling narratives.
