Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer based in the Netherlands to architect and build an enterprise-grade Agentic AI orchestration platform. You will design scalable AI systems combining LLMs, retrieval, multi-agent workflows, and reusable components, with hands-on work on Claude, LangGraph, LangChain, RAG and MCP.

You will provide technical leadership, guide architectural decisions around scalability, security, and reliability, and work remotely with strong ownership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering/AI/ML experience with senior responsibilities.
• Experience building and operating production LLM-based applications.
• Advanced Python development for production-grade backends.
• Hands-on Claude API integration in real-world AI apps.
• Experience with LangGraph and/or LangChain orchestration of complex workflows.
• Proven agentic AI architectures and multi-agent systems.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Strong prompt-engineering for model accuracy and reliability.
• Experience designing scalable APIs with FastAPI.
• Understanding of AI security, responsible AI, privacy, and enterprise governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of an enterprise-grade Agentic AI platform.
• Design modular AI components and intelligent agents using a bricks/ multi-node approach.
• Develop production-grade LLM applications leveraging Claude APIs, LangGraph, LangChain, RAG, and vector databases.
• Define scalable, secure, and reliable AI architectures for enterprise environments.
• Build scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Design retrieval-augmented generation solutions with vector databases.
• Develop advanced prompt-engineering strategies to improve model performance.
• Establish AI security practices and governance for enterprise data.
• Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into AI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and improve platform reliability and performance.
