Job summary

Mendix, a Siemens business, is seeking a senior AI platform designer in Rotterdam to build and validate agentic AI architectures. You will lead the design of end-to-end LLM-enabled solutions, oversee orchestration and multi-agent patterns, and drive reusable patterns for GTM and delivery teams.

You will partner with Product, GTM, and engineering to translate complex capabilities into scalable reference architectures, ensuring security, reliability, and observability across enterprise

Qualifications

• Hands-on design and building of agentic AI systems in production-like environments.
• Strong knowledge of LLM architectures, retrieval, grounding, and prompt design.
• Experience with evaluation loops, monitoring, and guardrails for safety and data controls.
• Ability to integrate agentic workflows with enterprise systems (APIs, events, identity).
• Strong system-architecture background covering security, reliability, observability.
• Experience with enterprise platforms and modern AI tooling; Siemens stack is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex tech into reusable patterns and clear narratives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with product, GTM, engineering, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement customer-facing prototypes and lighthouse AI integrations.
• Lead workshops and technical deep dives with customers and field teams.
• Turn validated work into reusable assets: reference architectures and accelerators.
• Serve as the technical owner for agentic system design and orchestration patterns.
• Design and maintain complex integration architectures across enterprise data systems.
• Support GTM with technical proof points and executive-level demos.
