Job summary

Accenture the Netherlands seeks an AI Native Engineer with 5+ years’ cloud-native experience to design and deploy agentic systems for enterprise clients. You’ll embed with customers as technologist and trusted advisor, defining use cases, prototyping rapidly, and delivering robust AI workflows that scale within real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization, serverless).
• 1+ year of deep expertise designing and deploying agentic solutions in production.
• 7+ years of experience with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI) and multi-provider pipelines.
• 10+ years programming in Python, Java, or equivalent with observability tooling.
• 10+ years deploying to production with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/Helm), monitoring, and debugging.
• 10+ years in client communication, workshops, and delivering under ambiguity.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering; AI certifications or agentic tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, evaluation harnesses, and observability.
• Develop abstraction layers across AI providers to enable seamless integration and enablement.
• Leverage Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures, CI/CD, and observability to deliver scalable AI-native systems.
• Tailor and deploy agentic applications across verticals — finance, healthcare, retail — addressing domain-specific processes via intelligent automation.
• Conduct design workshops, POCs, and code-with sessions to shape data-driven agent workflows with stakeholders.
• Define and use key metrics, test harnesses, and evaluation plans to measure agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost effectiveness.
• Craft reusable patterns, documentation, and best practices to influence internal assets and client roadmaps.
