Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an AI/ML & Forward Deployed Engineer based in the Netherlands. You will build and deploy high-impact AI and GenAI solutions from concept to production, combining software engineering, ML, and MLOps to deliver scalable, secure AI products.

You will work across the full AI lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical AI solutions and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software or technical engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning and AI/ML Engineering.
• Advanced Python development and practical ML techniques.
• Experience with NLP, forecasting, classification, regression, and anomaly detection.
• Proven experience building GenAI applications using LLMs and RAG.
• Strong understanding of embeddings, retrieval tuning, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation.
• MLOps and LLMOps principles across the AI development lifecycle.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for production deployments.
• REST and gRPC API design and event-driven services.
• Data quality, governance, security controls, RBAC, encryption, and audit trails.
• Ability to translate business challenges into AI solutions and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML, AI, and GenAI solutions from concept to production.
• Build ML models for NLP, forecasting, classification, regression, and anomaly detection.
• Develop GenAI apps using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Create AI evaluation frameworks for model quality and performance.
• Build scalable services via REST/gRPC APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Establish MLOps/LLMOps practices for deployment, automation, monitoring, and lifecycle.
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes; integrate into CI/CD.
• Implement model monitoring, drift detection, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and auditability in AI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into technical AI solutions.
• Support production operations with troubleshooting and optimization.
