Job summary

Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Accountant (US GAAP) fully remote in the Netherlands. You will handle full-cycle accounting for U.S.-based practices, ensure compliant financial reporting, and maintain GL integrity while engaging with U.S.

clients. Requirements include 7+ years in accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, CPA/CA/ACCA/SAICA designation preferred, and proficiency with accounting software.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional accounting experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a U.S. accounting firm or CPA practice.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain the general ledger, and ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving outstanding items.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes while meeting deadlines and standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and trial balances.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records and reporting documentation.
• Communicate with U.S.-based clients to address questions and provide professional support.
• Use AI-powered tools to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy.
