Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to work remotely from the Netherlands, supporting U.S.-based accounting firms with up-to-date records across multiple entities using QuickBooks Online and AI tools.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of bookkeeping experience, 2 years in an accounting firm, excellent English, and the ability to work during U.S. business hours. This is a long-term, fully remote role with flexible engagement options.

Qualifications

• Seven years of professional bookkeeping experience.
• Two years minimum in an accounting firm or CPA practice.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. bookkeeping practices and financial recordkeeping.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing and building reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities; record and categorize transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable; monitor outstanding payments.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare bookkeeping reports and assist in financial statement preparation.
• Collaborate with accounting teams and clients; resolve discrepancies.
