Job summary

QuantWare BV is seeking an exceptional Software Manager to drive the calibration software roadmap and lead a team of experts in quantum devices and software engineering.

You will own the development roadmap, recruit and develop a multidisciplinary team, and shape the software architecture with hardware abstraction layers, while collaborating with external partners to advance quantum software stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software leadership experience.
• Engineering management with proven recruiting, mentoring and retention.
• Deep expertise in the Python ecosystem and software architecture.
• Excellent leadership and communication with science domain experts.
• Domain experience in (superconducting) quantum computing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the development roadmap and project manage calibration software.
• Lead recruitment and growth of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists.
• Architect long-term software structure and hardware abstraction layers.
• Drive collaboration with third parties for data hand-offs and integrations.
