Job summary

QuantWare in the Netherlands seeks a Director of Applications to translate enterprise computational bottlenecks into quantified quantum business cases that drive hardware demand. You will own end-user partnerships and lead a senior team of Quantum Algorithm Experts, Applications Engineers, and Solutions Engineers, interfacing with strategic leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience building and guiding high-performing technical teams.
Executive communication across technical and commercial audiences at senior levels.
Education: Master’s or PhD in a technical field or MBA with a related undergrad.
Mindset: Strategic thinker with strong ownership and outcomes focus.

Responsibilities

End-User Partnership Ownership: lead end-to-end quantum application discovery projects with enterprise partners.
Quantified Business Cases: build robust business cases that quantify ROI of quantum applications.
Lead & Scale Application Teams: recruit and manage a small senior team of experts and engineers.
Executive Technical Relations: maintain high-trust relationships with leadership at partner organizations.
Framework Development: develop repeatable frameworks for business case development and project execution.
Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: translate requirements back to product, systems and business development.
