QuantWare BV is seeking a Senior Quantum Algorithm Expert to lead the development and translation of quantum applications from real-world use cases to efficient algorithms. You will estimate resources, build automation, and collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to map algorithmic needs to physical QPU specifications.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in quantum algorithms and resource estimation.
• Experience with circuit compilation and quantum error correction/mitigation.
• Strong collaboration and ownership from day one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate quantum computing applications by mapping real-world enterprise use cases to quantum algorithms with proven speedups.
• Develop frameworks to resource-estimate circuit execution, translating algorithms into hardware requirements.
• Lead automation for application mapping and resource estimation, coordinating with Software Development teams.
• Collaborate with Quantum Hardware and Systems Engineering to translate hardware specs into actionable requirements.
• Stay updated on academic and industry developments in quantum algorithms and error correction.
