Job summary

QuantWare BV is seeking a Senior Quantum Algorithm Expert to lead the development and translation of quantum applications from real-world use cases to efficient algorithms. You will estimate resources, build automation, and collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to map algorithmic needs to physical QPU specifications.

The role emphasizes practical impact beyond theory, with a hybrid work setup and opportunities to advance cutting-edge quantum technologies.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in quantum algorithms and resource estimation.
Experience with circuit compilation and quantum error correction/mitigation.
Strong collaboration and ownership from day one.

Responsibilities

Develop and validate quantum computing applications by mapping real-world enterprise use cases to quantum algorithms with proven speedups.
Develop frameworks to resource-estimate circuit execution, translating algorithms into hardware requirements.
Lead automation for application mapping and resource estimation, coordinating with Software Development teams.
Collaborate with Quantum Hardware and Systems Engineering to translate hardware specs into actionable requirements.
Stay updated on academic and industry developments in quantum algorithms and error correction.
