QuantWare BV in the Netherlands seeks an exceptional Software Manager to drive our software development. You will own the calibration software roadmap and lead a team of quantum device and software engineers.

You will shape architectural strategy, enforce production-grade practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to advance the VIO-based QPU software stack. Leadership, hiring, and mentoring are essential in building scalable software interfacing with hardware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software leadership experience.
• Experience architecting, delivering and maintaining production-grade software.
• Interfacing with hardware, instrumentation, or complex scientific systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the calibration software development roadmap and milestones.
• Recruit, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary software team.
• Drive long-term software architecture and hardware abstraction layers.
• Collaborate with external partners on data hand-offs and integrations.
