QuantWare is seeking a Software Manager to own our calibration software roadmap and lead a team of software engineers and quantum device specialists. You will set milestones, drive architectural strategy, and foster collaboration with external partners.

You will bring 5+ years of software leadership, strong Python expertise, and a track record of delivering production-grade software in complex environments. A hybrid work setup is offered.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software leadership experience with production‑grade software.
Experience interfacing with hardware, instrumentation, or scientific systems is a plus.
Strong Python and software architecture skills; modular design and interfaces.
Proven ability to recruit, mentor and retain senior engineers in fast-paced settings.
Excellent leadership and collaboration with scientific domain experts.

Responsibilities

Own the calibration software development roadmap with milestones and reporting.
Recruit, grow and retain a multidisciplinary software team.
Drive long-term architectural strategy and hardware abstractions.
Collaborate with third parties for ecosystem data hand-offs and integrations.
