Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Test Lead to drive quality assurance across Loans, Agency & Fees. The role focuses on designing test plans, mentoring testers in a global DevOps team, and ensuring robust testing across a complex backend landscape for wholesale banking clients.

You will partner with DevOps and product owners in sprints, influence test strategy, and oversee end-to-end validation, API checks, and data integrity across dozens of integrated applications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Quality Assurance mentorship and leading a team.
• Comprehensive communication verbally and in writing, in test plan designs and reporting.
• Manual testing.
• Proven experience with context-driven, exploratory, concurrent and risk-based testing.
• Proficiency in system integration, web services, API testing, SQL.
• Familiarity with structured test methods (e.g. ISTQB, TMap)
• Worked in Agile/Scrum environments.
• You must be located in the Netherlands, relocation is not possible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality is embedded in every step of the DevOps way of working, through test expertise and methodology, manual testing and validations, effective test plan design and reporting, and conducting root cause analysis and follow up of bugs.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team and product owner by actively participating in sprints, solution reviews and advise on test approach.
• Identify and communicate risks and improvements by acting as a quality ambassador and challenging technical decisions to drive continuous improvement.
