Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht invites an intern to balance operations and administration within our Purchasing team. You will support daily purchasing workflows, liaise with employees and suppliers, and learn purchasing and finance processes in a five-month program.

Located in the heart of Amsterdam, the internship includes a €750 monthly allowance, access to Hyatt wellbeing resources, and discounts at F&B outlets, with additional development tools and team activities offered by Hyatt.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or tourism-related study program.
• Openness to opportunities and creative solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Hands-on, pro-active and enthusiastic attitude.
• Eligible for five months or longer internship.
• Able to make decisions and be approachable.
• Good communication in English; Dutch an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a contact point for employees and suppliers.
• Support daily operations in the purchasing department.
• Gain knowledge of purchasing and finance administration, stock control, and accounts payable.
• Collaborate with Purchasing Team Leader and team to tackle tasks.
• Contribute to efficiency improvements and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• currently enrolled in a hospitality or tourism-related study program;

• available for five months or longer;
• not afraid to make decisions;
• detail-oriented and approachable;
• very communicative in English (and ideally also in Dutch);
• legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch Institution (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
