Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Amsterdam invites an internship in our Finance team focused on the hospitality sector. You will support day-to-day activities, month-end reports and budgeting tasks while gaining international experience with a leading hotel group.

The role requires English proficiency and a proactive attitude; Dutch language skills are preferred, with housing and intern allowances available. Duration typically five months or longer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in hospitality or finance-related studies.
• Strong initiative and solution-minded.
• Hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic.
• Available for five months or longer.
• Not afraid to make decisions.
• Detail-oriented and approachable.
• Fluent in English, Dutch preferred.
• EU passport or valid Netherlands work permit.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance team with day-to-day activities and month-end reporting.
• Assist with workflow analysis, optimization and auditing budgets.
• Contribute to finance projects in a dynamic team.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing to third parties.
• Familiarity with financial systems: Opera, IScala, Micros, Birchstreet.

• …to want to assist Finance team with their day-to-day activities, such as processing workflow analysis and optimization, assisting with month-end financial reports and auditing department budget-to-actual expenses;
• …to work on finance related projects;
• …to work in a dynamic team;
• …to be responsible for the Accounts Receivables: sending invoices to third party companies and suppliers)
• …to be knowledgeable about all the financial systems: Opera, IScala, Micros and Birchstreet.
