Job summary

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam seeks a Front Office Intern to support daily guest services and front desk projects. You will be part of a dynamic team, learning how to maximize guest satisfaction from check-in to check-out and beyond, while gaining hands-on experience in a five-star hotel environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a hospitality or tourism degree, fluent in English and preferably Dutch, and available for five months or longer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Tourism degree.
• Available for five months or longer.
• Must be able to communicate in English; Dutch is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on front office related projects.
• Maximize guest satisfaction and provide excellent experiences from arrival to departure and beyond.
• Identify VIPs and other special requests and act as a personal concierge to create memorable stays.

Qualifications

So, if YOU are…

• currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Tourism related degree;
• good at building relationships with guests and colleagues alike;
• available for five months or longer;
• hands-on, pro-active and enthusiastic;
• not afraid to make decisions;
• detail-oriented and approachable;
• very communicative in English and (preferably) in Dutch;
• legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch Institution (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
