Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Housekeeping Attendant in Amsterdam. You will clean and maintain guest rooms, replace supplies, and ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.

You will greet guests, stock supplies, and assist coworkers. Uniform and nametag are required; you may report issues and help guests as needed. This role offers Hyatt perks and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to take on responsibilities with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish and vacuum guest rooms as assigned.
• Replace supplies and keep rooms to Hyatt cleanliness standards.
• Change linens, make beds and keep bathrooms sparkling.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile during shifts.
• Stock carts with cleaning and room supplies.
• Complete daily section reports as directed.
• Assist colleagues and guests as needed.
• Report guest accidents or injuries to a supervisor immediately.
• Notify supervisor of guest complaints or maintenance issues.
• Arrive in clean, pressed uniform with nametag.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Cleaning, dusting, washing, scrubbing, sweeping, brushing: nothing is too crazy for you;

What does the ROLE entail?

Cleaning, dusting, polishing and vacuuming guest rooms as assigned, replacing required supplies and ensuring hotel's established standards of cleanliness are met;

Changing linens, making beds, and leaving the bathroom sparkling;

Acknowledging and greeting guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile;

Ensuring carts are stocked with cleaning and room supplies;

Completing daily section report as instructed by supervisor;

Completing assignment sheets;

Providing assistance to co-workers and guests as needed;

Reporting any guest accidents and associate injuries to a supervisor immediately;

Notifying supervisor of guest complaints, comments, maintenance issues or lost-and-found items;

Arriving in proper clean and pressed uniform with nametag;

Performing other necessary duties upon request.

• You have some experience working in Housekeeping;
• You have good language and communication skills in English and (preferably) in Dutch;
• You do not hold back from your responsibilities.
• You are legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
