Job summary

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam is seeking a Management Trainee in Housekeeping to support daily operations across rooms, public areas, laundry, and stock control. You will assist with group arrivals and VIP rooms coordination, while gaining full exposure to all housekeeping functions.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, a proactive attitude, and teamwork; Dutch skills are preferred. The program offers development, wellbeing, and international exposure in a luxury five-star hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Hospitality or Tourism related degree.
• Available for five months or longer.
• Strong in English; Dutch language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily housekeeping operations, including rooms, public areas, laundry, and stock control.
• Support group arrivals and VIP rooms coordination.
• Assist with scheduling, dry cleaning registrations, and purchasing records.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Tourism related degree;
• available for five months or longer;
• very communicative in English (and, ideally, also in Dutch);
• detail-oriented, approachable, and not afraid to make decisions;
• hands-on, pro-active and enthusiastic;
• always seeking for opportunities and creative solutions;
• legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch Institution (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications);
