Job summary

Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager, Civil Government, to manage and expand relationships with public sector entities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will help customers maximize Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions, integrating data into workflows for environmental monitoring, emergency response, land management, and maritime surveillance.

The ideal candidate has government experience, can navigate complex procurement cycles, and build connections across ministries

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Customer Success or similar, preferably with government clients.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery.
• Experience working with sales teams and understanding commercial models.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for gross and net retention metrics across your book of business.
• Partner with Account Executives to build unified account strategies.
• Map long‑term trajectories to identify risks and expansion opportunities.
• Co‑create success plans and QBRs to measure ROI of Planet solutions.
• Build relationships across complex stakeholder networks for advocacy.
• Lead cross‑functional teams through key account milestones.
