Job summary

Planet designs, builds, and operates the largest constellation of imaging satellites. The Solutions Delivery Engineer will support operational execution of large-scale Area Monitoring System deliveries across Europe, applying geospatial processing pipelines and coordinating data from Planet and Sentinel sources.

This is a full-time, 12-month position with potential extension, a hybrid role requiring presence in Haarlem, Ljubljana, or Graz three days per week, and a focus on delivering timely,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong GIS knowledge and satellite imagery experience.
• Experience with geospatial data processing workflows.
• Ability to manage delivery timelines and communicate trade-offs to clients.
• Experience with Python for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Support the operational execution of large-scale AMS deliveries across multiple EU countries.
• Run and oversee complex geospatial processing pipelines from data prep to marker services.
• Own delivery timelines and negotiate with clients when needed.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and client stakeholders.
