Job summary

Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager for Civil Government to manage and expand relationships with public sector entities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role focuses on maximizing value from Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions within complex government environments.

You will work with diverse ministries and agencies, aligning technical workflows with commercial goals, and travel to connect with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Customer Success or similar role, ideally with government clients.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Good working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery products.
• Experience working with sales organizations and consultative partnerships.
• Ability to navigate government structures and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Own retention metrics across your book of business.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to build unified strategies.
• Map long-term account trajectories and identify risks/opportunities.
• Co-create success plans and QBRs to measure ROI.
• Build relationships across complex stakeholder networks.
• Lead cross-functional teams through key milestones.
• Navigate high-stakes situations with sound judgment.
