Job summary

Planet is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Professional Services for Defense and Intelligence, to guide strategy and execution across multi-project workstreams at a global scale.

The role leads a team of solutions architects, deployment strategists and software engineers, focusing on geospatial solutions for defense and intelligence with global delivery. Hybrid work from Haarlem, Berlin or London offices three days a week.

Qualifications

• Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading professional services for defense/intelligence.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Professional Services Solutions architects, deployment strategists and software engineers.
• Guide strategy and execution for multiple projects with global delivery.
• Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of defense/intelligence geospatial solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams across Engineering, Product, and Design.
• Write technical specifications and manage risk across programs.
