Job summary

Octave is seeking an Implementation Consultant in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, to bridge customer requirements with our public safety solutions. You will translate business needs into effective configurations within our web-based call taking and dispatching software portfolio.

You will drive project lifecycle from design through training and support, collaborating with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful deployments and ongoing service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.
• Valid driving licence.
• Knowledge of databases/SQL (preferably MS SQL Server), web technologies, Azure DevOps, JSON/XML/HTML and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and integration activities from design to deployment.
• Translate customer requirements into practical solutions for public safety software.
• Configure and customize solutions to meet functional/technical needs.
• Design integrations with customer systems, APIs, and databases.
• Conduct testing (system, integration, UAT) and ensure performance.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to customers.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and solution design discussions.
• Maintain project documentation and adherence to SLAs.
• Identify opportunities for service expansion.
