Job summary

GAC Europe, based in Amsterdam, seeks a Product Manager to oversee market insights, product definition, and cross-functional coordination across regional teams. The role emphasizes strategic planning, collaboration with regional centers on GTM, and driving product launches in the West European market.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in product fields, fluency in English, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above preferred; automotive engineering major a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in product-related fields with knowledge of launch and marketing in the automotive industry.
• Ability to efficiently coordinate cross-functional resources with strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Research and provide feedback on market insights and demand analysis within the subsidiary.
• Research and provide feedback on product definition and technical requirements within the subsidiary.
• Track development progress of related products within the subsidiary; coordinate requirements and provide support.
• Execute IPMS-related product business activities within the subsidiary.
• Build and improve the west EU's product business processes and formulate annual work plans and budgets.
• Interface with the regional center on product domains and GTM; collect and report product-related outcomes.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the company and senior management.

We are currently looking for Product Manger, the details Job responsibilities as below:

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for researching and providing feedback on market insights and demand analysis within the subsidiary.
• Responsible for researching and providing feedback on product definition and technical requirements within the subsidiary.
• Track the development progress of related products within the subsidiary, coordinate requirements, and provide supporting assistance.
• Responsible for and execute IPMS-related product business activities within the subsidiary.
• Continuously build and improve the west EU's product business processes, and formulate annual work plans and budgets.
• Interface with the regional center on product domains and GTM, and promptly collect and provide feedback on product-related outcomes.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the company and senior management.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or above preferred; majors in Automotive Engineering or related fields are a plus.
• Five years or more of experience in product-related fields (market research, product technology, product strategy) preferred, with a deep understanding of product launch and marketing processes, and familiarity with the characteristics and requirements of product strategy in the automotive industry.
• Able to efficiently mobilize and coordinate cross-functional resources, with strong stress resistance as well as excellent decision-making and communication skills.
• Possess strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a proactive work attitude and a high sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English as a working language; proficiency in any additional European language is a plus. Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently is preferred.
