GAC Motor Europe B.V. is seeking a PR Manager to lead media relations, plan communications, and manage crises across Europe from Amsterdam.

The role emphasizes English writing, cross-cultural communication, and alignment with the GAC brand strategy in the European market. You will collaborate with HQ and local dealers, drive CSR communications, and contribute to brand exposure through press events, launches, and media outreach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of PR, media or crisis management experience.
• Automotive industry or European market experience preferred.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with European mainstream automotive, financial and industry media; plan and execute media activities and respond to crises.
• Plan and create press releases, speeches, social media texts in English and Chinese aligned with European market culture; coordinate brand PR activities.
• Collaborate with headquarters and local European dealers to ensure PR strategy aligns with the brand strategy; assist agencies to deliver projects.
• Support CSR initiatives and promote environmental protection and public welfare topics in communications.
• Monitor European public opinion, assess risks, and prepare crisis PR responses to protect brand reputation; coordinate internal and external resources.
• Complete additional tasks as directed by the company and leadership.

We are currently looking for PR Manager, the details Job responsibilities as below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Media relations maintenance, responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term cooperative relationships with mainstream automotive, financial and industry media in Europe, planning and executing media communication activities, monitoring public opinion in the European market, responding to PR crises in a timely manner, and maintaining brand image;
• Content planning and dissemination, writing press releases, speeches, social media texts and other promotional materials in English and Chinese that meet the culture of the European market, planning and executing brand PR activities (e.g. new car launches, auto shows, media test drives, etc.) to enhance brand exposure;
• Cross-sectoral cooperation, synergize with headquarter and local dealers in Europe to ensure the PR strategy is consistent with the brand strategy, and assist third-party agencies to land the project efficiently;
• Social responsibility and brand image, participate in corporate CSR (social responsibility) program planning, promote environmental protection, public welfare and other topics of communication;
• Public opinion management, when monitoring public opinion in the European market, analyzing potential risks, formulating response strategies to ensure the safety of the brand's reputation, PR crisis occurs, rapid response and coordination of internal and external resources, the development of crisis public relations program to reduce the negative impact；
• Complete other tasks arranged by the company and superior leaders.

What You Bring:

• Minimum3 years or above of PR, media or crisis management related experience, automotive industry or European market experience is preferred;
• Familiar with European mainstream social media and news dissemination channels, with rapid response capability;
• With cross-cultural communication skills, understanding of the media and consumer differences in different European markets;
• Excellent English writing and communication skills, able to accurately convey the brand's position.
