Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) Europe is seeking a dynamic Procure-to-Pay Operations Director to lead P2P and Travel & Expense across its European network. The role is based in Amsterdam with a hybrid working model and oversees strategic finance operations to optimise cash flow and governance.

You will partner with senior leaders across Europe, drive transformation programmes, standardise processes, and develop high-performing teams while enabling growth for the MVH Europe business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading finance, accounting, shared services, or procurement operations, with at least 10 years' post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong transformation mindset with experience driving process improvement and change programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Degree in Finance or related discipline; professional qualifications advantageous.

The team

As part of the MVH Europe Finance function, you'll join a collaborative and highly influential Financial Operations team responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of Procure-to-Pay and Travel & Expense operations across Europe. Working closely with the Senior Director Financial Operations, Governance & Control, Global Process Owners, Global Business Services teams, and business leaders across multiple countries, you'll help shape the future operating model and drive continuous improvement. This is a fast-paced, strategic leadership environment where operational excellence, stakeholder partnership, process transformation, and strong governance are at the heart of everything we do.

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience leading finance, accounting, shared services, or procurement operations, with at least 10 years' post-qualification experience
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams and technical leaders
• Strong transformation mindset with experience driving process improvement, standardisation, and operational change programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
• Degree in Finance or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, CFA, or ACCA and experience working with BPO providers are advantageous.
