Job summary

AniCura is seeking a Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Shared Service Centre in Amsterdam. You’ll support accounting, reporting and compliance across the Netherlands and MVHE, reporting to the Head of Accounting SSC NL/BE and collaborating with local operations and external auditors.

The role requires around 5 years in accounting, a qualified status (RA/CPA) or MSc in Accounting, strong Dutch/GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is a plus.

• Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits.
• Knowledge of Dutch entities or compliance is advantageous.
• Fluent English; Dutch desirable; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support statutory reporting and compliance across NL and MVHE Group.
• Prepare financial statements under Dutch GAAP and US GAAP where applicable.
• Collaborate with finance teams, operations, clinics and external auditors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Location – Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid, 50% office-based)

The team

You'll join the Finance Shared Service Centre within Mars Veterinary Health Europe (MVHE), supporting accounting, reporting and compliance activities across the Netherlands and wider European organisation. Reporting to the Head of Accounting SSC NL&BE, you'll work alongside experienced finance professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The team partners closely with local operations, group finance functions and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance and the delivery of high-quality financial information

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified accountant (RA, CPA or Master's degree in Accounting).
• Around 5 years' experience in accounting and financial reporting, ideally within a Shared Service Centre, large matrix organisation and/or Big 4 environment.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits, with knowledge of Dutch entities or compliance considered advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Fluent English language skills; Dutch language skills are desirable. Experience with Oracle ERP, Caseware and Blackline would be beneficial.
