Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Almere is hiring a Cook to take responsibility for a high-quality breakfast service and group meals in a 160-room hotel. The role works 15.2 hours per week, reporting to the Operations Manager and collaborating closely with the F&B team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, works quickly, and is a true team player with strong English communication. Dutch language skills are a plus, and prior hotel kitchen experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Independent work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Creative and warm personality with strong guest focus.
• Excellent English; Dutch language a plus.
• Experience in hotel settings is advantageous.
• Able to collaborate with F&B team and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes.
• Prepare group lunch and dinner.
• Monitor food quality, freshness and HACCP hygiene standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Daily ordering of supplies from various suppliers.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operation.
