Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Customer Care Officer to join a stable international team in Amsterdam. The role focuses on end-to-end Order-to-Cash, managing orders, invoicing, and strong cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance and Sales.

The ideal candidate has hands-on OTC experience, SAP know-how, and a customer-focused mindset. Hybrid work is available with a modern office in Amsterdam’s Zuidas.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Order Management, Customer Operations or Supply Chain Customer Service.
• Strong understanding of the full OTC cycle, including order processing, delivery coordination, invoicing and issue resolution.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, chemical, food ingredients or other international B2B environment is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• A customer-focused and proactive mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• A structured way of working with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process from order entry to delivery and invoicing.
• Owning a customer portfolio and building strong customer relationships.
• Processing and managing customer orders in SAP.
• Monitoring open orders, shipments and deliveries to ensure service levels are met.
• Coordinating with warehouses, carriers and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries and operational questions.
• Working closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Finance and Sales teams.
• Managing customer master data, pricing information and contract administration.
• Handling returns, credit notes, debit notes and billing corrections.
• Supporting invoicing activities and assisting with payment and collection-related matters.
• Investigating customer complaints and driving resolutions.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
• Preparing reports and providing order-related analysis where needed.
