Job summary

Klaas Puul BV, a leading shrimp producer in Europe, seeks a motivated Operator for our Volendam/Edam operations. The role supports packaging, processing, and ensuring efficient production in a fixed afternoon shift (14:30–23:00).

You will contribute to quality and hygiene in a dynamic production environment. We offer a competitive gross monthly salary of €3,100–€3,500, a 12-month fixed-term contract, 25 days holiday, a strong pension scheme, and extra benefits like travel allowance and bike

Qualifications

• Completed technical secondary school diploma, preferably VAPRO.
• Experience as an Operator or in a similar technical position.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.
• Technical insight and a practical, solution-oriented attitude.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• You live in the Netherlands.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety or willingness to learn it.
• You work precisely with an eye for quality, safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

What are you going to do?

As an Operator, you work alongside your colleagues to ensure that the production process runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You play an important role in the processing and packaging of high-quality shrimp products.

Your duties will include:

• Setting up, converting, and operating packaging machines;
• Performing quality and process checks;
• The detection and resolution of any malfunctions and deviations;
• Cleaning machines in accordance with applicable hygiene and safety regulations;
• Contribute to a safe, efficient and hygienic working environment;
• Working together with colleagues to ensure that the production process runs smoothly.

What are you bringing?

• A completed technical secondary school diploma, preferably VAPRO;
