Job summary

Klaas Puul BV, a leading shrimp producer in Europe, seeks a motivated Operator for our Volendam/Edam operations. The role supports packaging, processing, and ensuring efficient production in a fixed afternoon shift (14:30–23:00).

You will contribute to quality and hygiene in a dynamic production environment. We offer a competitive gross monthly salary of €3,100–€3,500, a 12-month fixed-term contract, 25 days holiday, a strong pension scheme, and extra benefits like travel allowance and bike

Qualifications

• Completed technical secondary school diploma, preferably VAPRO.
• Experience as an Operator or in a similar technical position.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.
• Technical insight and a practical, solution-oriented attitude.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• You live in the Netherlands.
• Good command of English; Dutch is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety or willingness to learn it.
• You work precisely with an eye for quality, safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, converting, and operating packaging machines.
• Performing quality and process checks.
• Detecting and resolving malfunctions and deviations.
• Cleaning machines in line with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient and hygienic working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth production.
