Job summary

Klaas Puul BV is seeking a Production Worker to join our Netherlands-based production team. You will help pack shrimp, assist in logistics and production, and uphold hygiene and safety standards across shifts. English skills required; forklift certificate is mandatory.

We offer a gross monthly salary of €2,700–€3,000 for full-time, a 12-month contract, 25 days’ holiday, a strong pension, travel allowance, and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in production or logistics.
• Live in the Netherlands; applications from abroad not considered.
• Proactive, hygienic, and accurate, and a true team player.
• Good oral and written English; Dutch is a plus.
• Forklift certificate is a must.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and willingness to learn about food fraud/defense.

Responsibilities

• Pack shrimp and assist in production and logistics tasks.
• Maintain hygiene and safety in line with guidelines.

In this role, you are involved in various tasks within logistics, production, and cleaning. For example, you help pack our shrimp and perform other tasks that contribute to an efficient production process. Hygiene and safety are central to this. You ensure that your work is always carried out in accordance with applicable guidelines.

You work in permanent employment of your choice:

• Morning/afternoon shift: 06:00 – 14:30
• Afternoon/night shift: 14:30 – 22:30

What are you bringing?

• Mbo work and thinking level;
• Relevant work experience from 0–2 years, preferably within a production or logistics environment;
• You live in the Netherlands; applications from abroad are not being considered;
• You are proactive, work hygienically and accurately, and are a true team player;
• You have good oral and written communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus;
• A valid forklift certificate is a must;
• Basic knowledge of food safety and familiarity with guidelines regarding food fraud and food defense, or the willingness to learn more about these topics.
