Job summary

Klaas Puul B.V. is seeking an Operator for its Volendam/Edam operations. The role focuses on safely and efficiently running shrimp packaging lines, carrying out checks, and maintaining hygiene across processes.

You will work in a dynamic, informal environment with opportunities for personal development, including coaching and training. A fixed-term 12-month contract and competitive monthly salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Completed technical MBO-level education (preferably VAPRO).
• Experience in a similar technical role; food industry a plus.
• Must live in the Netherlands; applications from abroad will not be considered.
• Good teamwork skills, but also the ability to work independently.
• Good spoken and written English skills; Dutch is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and familiarity with guidelines on food fraud and food defense, or willingness to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Set up, convert, adjust, and operate packaging machines and related equipment.
• Carry out various quality and process checks.
• Clean machines according to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Contribute to the overall safety and hygiene of our products.
