Job summary

Klaas Puul B.V. is seeking independent and experienced technical operators for our Volendam/Edam operations to ensure shrimp production runs safely, productively and efficiently.

You will work with colleagues in the Operations department to set up, adjust and operate packaging machines and related equipment. We offer a competitive monthly salary between €3.100 and €3.500, a fixed-term contract for 12 months, 25 vacation days per year, a strong pension scheme (60% funded by Klaas Puul), travel

Qualifications

• MBO-level technical education (VAPRO preferred).
• Experience in a similar technical role; experience in food industry is a plus.
• Must live in the Netherlands; applications from abroad will not be considered.
• Good spoken and written English; Dutch is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and willingness to learn about food fraud/defense.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, converting, adjusting, and operating packaging machines and related equipment.
• Carrying out various quality and process checks.
• Cleaning machines according to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Monitoring product traceability.
• Contributing to the overall safety and hygiene of our products.
