Job summary

Klaas Puul BV, a leading shrimp specialist in the Netherlands, seeks a Technical Service Employee to ensure smooth production, perform preventative/corrective maintenance, and guide operators to improve processes. You will troubleshoot issues, document actions, and contribute to cost-conscious, downtime-minimizing operations.

We require a technical MBO (preferably VAPRO), 3–5 years in a technical role, teamwork with independence, punctuality, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Completed a technical MBO (vocational) education (preferably VAPRO).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical role.
• Able to work in a team, but also independently.
• Punctual and meticulous.
• Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.

What are you going to do?

As a member of the Technical Services department, you will ensure that the production process runs smoothly and be a vital link in our success. You will be the point of contact for technical queries and carry out both preventative and corrective maintenance. In doing so, you will consider productivity, costs, and minimal downtime. In addition, you will guide and motivate operators to increase their technical knowledge and continuously improve processes. You will be responsible for, among other things:

• Carrying out maintenance work;
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues;
• Documenting activities and the use of materials;
• Taking the initiative when identifying improvements;
• Proactively guiding and training operators in machine knowledge.;
• Proposing improvements to process optimisation;
• Maintaining contact with colleagues and department heads.

What are we looking for

• You have completed a technical MBO (vocational) education (preferably VAPRO);

• You enjoy working as part of a team, but are also able to work independently;
• You are punctual and meticulous.;
• You have excellent spoken and written command of both Dutch and English.
