Job summary

Q's Cards is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee store operations in Amsterdam and Amersfoort, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities across both locations and coordinating with the online shop.

You will lead and motivate teams, plan schedules, monitor performance, and manage stock movement and store standards. A hands-on, proactive approach and fluent English are essential, with experience across multisite retail and a track record of driving improvements.

Job description

Keep our stores, people and stock moving together. Work closely with the owner to improve day-to-day operations across both locations.

Based in the Netherlands, Q's Cards is a rapidly growing company specializing in sports trading cards. We cater to both B2C and B2B markets, offering a wide range of products from basketball and soccer to football and baseball cards. With physical stores in Amersfoort and Amsterdam, alongside our growing online business, we are building one of the leading sports card communities in Europe.

What you'll do

• Take responsibility for store operations in Amsterdam and Amersfoort.
• Lead and motivate the teams; coordinate schedules, staffing and priorities, and monitor performance.
• Coordinate inventory and product movement between stores and the online shop.
• Create and improve practical processes, solve operational issues and maintain store standards.
• Keep the owner informed about performance, people, stock and issues.
• Step in and support the team wherever needed.

What you'll bring

• 2-5 years in operations, retail or store management, or a similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing and motivating a team.
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.
• Confidence making independent decisions and handling competing priorities.
• A practical, hands-on approach and comfort working across both locations.
• Fluent English; inventory or logistics experience and sports card interest are a plus.
• You will regularly work across both Amsterdam and Amersfoort. This role offers real ownership and room to grow as the company expands.

Salary is based on a 40-hour workweek and depends on experience and qualifications.
